“When we started the process of looking for a Graphic Designer we had some pretty specific needs in mind. At the time, we were still in the start-up phase and didn’t have any brand standards or guidelines in place. Most of the designers that we interviewed had your basic design skills, but we needed someone who could build an entire Graphic Design team from the ground-up.
Not only did we have a lot of foundational work to do, but we also wanted a graphic designer that could work with our developers to begin an entire website redesign. We needed someone with the design skills to come up with comps and someone that had a background working with other developers (those developer types are a unique breed).
